What should I do if the pig catches a cold?

Swine influenza is an acute, febrile, and highly contagious infectious disease in pigs caused by the A (A) swine influenza virus (siv). It is characterized by sudden onset, coughing, dyspnea, fever and rapid relapse, spreading rapidly throughout the herd. In the same pig farm within 1 to 2 days, almost 80% of the pigs have the disease at the same time.

【Symptoms】

There is obvious seasonality, which mostly occurs in autumn, winter and spring when the temperature changes suddenly, especially when it is humid and rainy.

Pigs of various stages, genders, and breeds can be infected;

It is mainly transmitted through the respiratory tract through droplets;

Poor feeding management, fatigue in long-distance transportation, and congestion are all factors that promote the disease.

【Clinical symptoms】

Sick pigs have a sudden fever at the initial stage of onset, lack of energy, loss of appetite or abandonment, often lying together, unwilling to move, breathing difficulties, intense coughing, mucus out of the eyes and nose. If the treatment is not timely during the onset period, bronchitis, pneumonia, and pleurisy may occur easily. When sick pigs become sick, their body temperature rises as high as 40℃~41.5℃, and individual sick pigs pant, cough, breathe abdominally, and have a dog sitting posture. Sick pig asthma can be heard at night.

【Precaution】

1. When there is a big temperature difference between day and night, you should pay attention to cold prevention;

2. Regularly use HY Golden iodine or Xin Wei Te 1:800～1000 for disinfection

3. Every 1000 kg of feed can be added: 500 g of Astragalus polysaccharide + 500 g of Wei Kang (or 500 g of Vidoli) to improve the immunity of the pig herd.

【Solution】

1. Stop washing pig pens.

①Drinking water: Add per 100 catties of water: 100 grams of Qiang Kang Sheng + 100 grams of Qing Re Ning + 100 grams of Ai Fu Mie (or 100 grams of Hui Ke Shu) + 100 grams of Wei Kang (pigs who do not drink water should get up and drink water);

②Add 500 grams of beneficial poultry and livestock per ton of feed;

3. After the condition is stable, it is recommended to add to each ton of feed: 250 grams of Hui Le Xin (or 500 grams of Tai Ke Xing) + 500 grams of Hui Ke Shu + 500 grams of Astragalus polysaccharides + 500 grams of Wei Duo Li (or 500 grams of Wei Kang). Use In one week, there will be fewer tail pigs (defective pigs) treated in this way.
